Does payment have to be made before I can begin the course?

Yes. Payment for the course must be received in full within 28 days of receipt of a valid invoice. NB: No course materials will be dispatched/available on-line until payment has been received.

How long will it take to complete each module?

Between three to four hours to read and understand the content, work through any practical examples and complete the self-assessment questions at the end. These questions can vary from requiring a sentence to page depending whether it’s technical answer or asking you to think about your style or preferences.

Do we have to send in the modules, when they have been completed?

These questions are self-assessed, they do not have to be submitted so it is your choice on the depth you choose to answer them in depending on your understanding.

When you have completed the course guidelines answers will be made available to you for you to compare.

Is there a final assessment?

Upon course completion, on-line learning and hard copy version participants are invited to undertake a final external assessment in the form of an online multiple-choice paper. This is an optional requirement.

Participants are required to achieve a pass rate of 80% and above to ensure that a high level of competence has been achieved within the subject area and to receive the advanced ‘Certificate of Excellence’. The final external assessment can be taken up to three times, thereafter the ‘General Certificate of Course Completion’ will be issued.

NB: The final external assessment is an optional appraisal and those participants not wishing to undertake it will automatically receive the ‘General Certificate of Completion’ for their personal development/training profile.
