Bite-size training: The latest on Brexit Training Course

Brexit has happened but its effects have not really been felt due to the transition period which lasts until 31 December 2020. Many businesses are sticking their heads in the sand while we all deal with the more immediate threat of COVID-19. However, this training goes through the major issues of which businesses need to be aware in order to plan and prepare for life after the Brexit transition ends.

Overview:

Many are not aware of the changes coming into force at the end of 2020 and how leaving the EU on 31 January 2020 differs from exiting the transition stage on 31 December 2020. This 60-90 minute live event covers a range of Brexit topics from intellectual property and data law to financial services, trading and tariffs, state and competition (anti-trust) policies, environmental and labour protection policies, fisheries policies, the role of the European Court of Justice, criminal matters, tax policies, Gibraltar, legal clauses in contracts – and more. It’s a must for anyone not wanting to be left behind on the (second) biggest event of the year!

Mark Weston is a leading commercial lawyer and expert on Brexit having advised numerous business small, medium and large. He is the Head of the large commercial law team at Hill Dickinson LLP and has 30 years’ experience in advising business.
