Many open platform organisations, including Google have been seeking ways to help copyright owners make their creative works available in a quick, simple way. From video to audio to software and beyond, the Creative Commons licensing suite is one of the main de facto standard means to achieve this with its form of licensing. This session examines how Creative Commons works as well as laying the foundation for an understanding of other open content licensing schemes.
